One of our many daily routines; every morning I let Sophie out to go potty and Riley watches over her. She yells "Soaps or soapy" , claps her hands and stomps her foot if Sophie runs into the neighbors yard.

The girls loved watching the guys; selling, yelling and fish throwing. One happy tattooed, body pierced fish thrower took a moment out to pose with the girls, but first he made them each hold a large dripping wet crab. *the girls were not too happy about that, but would do pretty much anything to pose for a picture with a cute guy. (make that a cute goofy guy)

Chelsea has never been to down town Seattle so that was great for the girls. We just wandered the waterfront, walked around Pike Market, and then we zig-zagged the streets. The girls were overwhelmed by all the homeless people, but mostly very saddened by the bums that had dogs. After dinner the girls handed out food to the bums and the bums dogs. (no joke) These girls may be hormonal teenagers but they have HUGE hearts. They talked about setting up a date to come to Seattle just to hand out food to the homeless.

because, how like totally embarrassing it is like to have like your mom like walk with you. Gosh!...rumble uha..oh look a boy over there.... hair flipping sound..

No the girls were great and didn't seem to be too embarrassed by me. I'm not cool anymore..darn...

Grandpa was in Mexico for over 4 months, we wondered how Riley would respond to him when he got back. At first she was scared and said "no no no" when he got close. But soon she remembered who he was and had no problem snuggling.

Riley walked up to Grandpa one day, pointed and said, "Papa" as if it was no big deal.

Celebrating her 14th Birthday at Safeco field

Lexy got a big SURPRISE the day before her 14th B-Day, the first surprise was that when she got home from School her G-pa was there, then we all piled into the car and headed to....(Lexy still had no clue where we were going)...to a Mariners game, Chris got us great seats between 3rd base and home plate. This was a fabulous surprise for Lexy, and so much fun for us as a family,what great memories she will have.

Easter Weekend

Friday night before Easter Sunday we dyed eggs, and well our hands too, *note that Riley used her left hand for the blue and green dye, and her right one for the pinks and purples. It took 3 days for it to fade away.

Riley loves animals, especially dogs, here she tried to ride Buddy with the help of her big sister,

Then Lexy drove the lawnmower around (drove not mowed) She almost had it up on 2 wheels, because she was going so fast. Only 2 more years until she can drive, so she is getting in as much practice as possible.

I think I'll put my Dad in charge of teaching her how to drive, he's already lost most of his hair.

Easter 2007

This was Riley's first "walking" Easter, she wasn't sure what was going on, she just liked all the pretty "balls" as she calls them.
